RAW Holistic Coaching & Consulting

About me

We’re all friends here, please call me Jaz.

I’m a dog mom, world traveler, slow living connoisseur, and a multi-passionate human being.

After years of struggling with my own symptoms (everything from chronic anxiety to hormonal acne and mood swings to irregular cycles) I knew I wanted to support my body and treat the cause, not just cover the symptoms. I found healing through Functional Medicine which focuses on the root cause of the problem, instead of masking the symptoms.

I decided to leave the fast paced ICU bedside to pursue my Board Certification to become a Board Certified Holistic Health & Wellness Nurse Coach along with training specifically in Functional Medicine for Nurses.

My work is to hold a space where people feel in charge of their Health & Wellness. I offer 1:1 coaching containers for those who feel they may have an imbalance between the mind, body, and spirit.

“I am here to practice nursing differently. In a way that empowers those to take an active role in their life”

  • The questions you asked allowed me to reflect on my younger self. The meditation was such a powerful experience for me. I needed to visit and reach my younger self but I wasn’t sure how to get there. Your guided mediation helped me to go back and really be with my younger self and to revisit my childhood. I was able to save my younger self and free her from all the pain and trauma. Thank you Jaz.

  • This coaching engagement has had a profound impact on various aspects of my life. One of the most significant impacts is the newfound sense of direction it has provided me in terms of my habits and lifestyle. Another notable aspect is the sincere focus on holistic healing from the inside out, without placing emphasis on supplements or medications.

Frequently asked questions

  • A Nurse Coach is a highly skilled Registered Nurse, going beyond the usual nursing and coaching roles. They blend their nursing knowledge with coaching techniques to become a friendly partner in your journey towards better health and wellbeing.

So think of me like your own personal health cheerleader!

I am here to guide you into taking an active role in your health through dietary and lifestyle changes, finding the tools to cope with stressors in a healthy way, and most importantly support you into finding the highest version of yourself!

  • At this time, I do not take insurance however I am happy to share that I accept HSA (Health Savings Account) & FSA (Flexible Spending Account).

HSAs and FSAs are accounts that allow individuals to put pre-tax dollars aside for use towards qualified, health-related expenses.

HSAs are typically tied to high-deductible health plans (a plan that typically has a higher deductible than most other plans) and are managed by the individual. These funds can roll over from year to year and can be invested when not in use. FSAs are employer-managed accounts. They’re non-investable and all funds must be used within the plan year.

If you don't have one, reach out to your employer for assistance!

    • Registered Nurse (RN)

    • Board Certified Holistic Nurse Coach (NC-BC)

I have 7+ years of ICU nursing experience working in a hospital setting, working in 7 hospitals and 3 states.

My role was to coordinate patient care, communicate patient needs, and to provide a space that was healing for the patient under challenging circumstances. I cared for patients who were critically ill, have life-threatening conditions, or require constant monitoring and intervention.

  • The number one distinction is that a nurse health coach has a nursing qualification and experience, where as a health coach does not.
